Jill Scott measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Jill Scott is the only child of her mother Joyce Scott. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1972. As an only girl Scott was also raised with her grandmother, who was also maternal. Scott went to the Philadelphia High School for Girls as well as Temple University after graduating. She studied secondary education over there while working two jobs. She hoped to become the high school's English teacher. This dream was however cut short when after three years of study and being an assistant to teachers she dropped out of college. Following her first gigs doing live poetry shows, she eventually teamed up Amir Quest Thompson of The Roots. You Got Me was co-written by the two. At the Roots performance, she was spotted as an artist. After that, she began collaboration with other musicians such as Eric Benet Will Smith or Common. She also gained experience in performing during the Canada tour of Broadway's musical Rent. She was signed by the label's first artist.
